4.2 Mentors When you enrol in a course or cohort, relevant information (your name, contact details, and submitted project work) is shared with the assigned Zikshaa mentor for the purpose of delivering the program.
4.3 Legal requirements We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4.4 Business transfers If Zikshaa is acquired by or merged with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law.
● Contact form enquiries: Retained for 12 months from the date of submission, unless you enrol in a program
● Course and cohort enrolment data: Retained for 3 years from the end of your program, for certification and dispute resolution purposes
● Payment records: Retained for 7 years in accordance with Indian financial and tax regulations
● Marketing communications consent: Until you withdraw consent
When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
